The Soft Tarot is a set of illustrations representing 8 cards of the 22 Major Arcana. I've chosen the most connected cards to the natural elements and female figures. The purpose of this work is to demonstrade the softness and strength of self-knowledge
References
I used as reference the work of artists such as Luis Ricardo Falero, Lev Lerch and Guillaume Seignac. The sensitivity of their works inspired me to study fluid compositions, using the body as a way of expressing feelings.
Here the nude has no sexual purpose. It represents freedom, softness and the magic of self-understanding.
Applications
I've decided to work in a simple and clean design to improve the illustrations, without losing the richness of traditional tarot details. The simplicity of the strokes and background brings the beauty of female solitude.
This style allows an infinite ways of applications, making the project work as a card deck and as a stamp for other products, such as pictures, clothing... etc.
